What makes Lease Check Mate different from any other attorney?

Many things! For starters, we are both attorneys and commercial real estate brokers, so we understand both the legalese as well as common business deal points that come together to make your deal work (as a legal instrument and a business transaction). Very few attorneys have the experience we have on the business side of real estate deals, and even fewer real estate brokers understand the law like we do. So our benefit is that we know both sides of the coin and can ensure that your lease is explained in a way that you understand it.

Is Lease Check Mate a law firm?

No. Lease Check Mate is a service founded by an attorney and real estate broker with vast experience in commercial real estate leases and transactions.

If I sign up for the service, will Lease Check Mate by my attorney.

No. Lease Check Mate offers multiple levels of service related to a lease review, and only the Full Service level of services establishes an attorney-client arrangement where both parties enter into a contract outlining the scope of services provided by the attorneys. Every other level of service operates as a basic professional service wherein your questions related to a commercial real estate lease are answered by a professional real estate broker and/or attorney.

How long will it take to get my summary?

We guarantee a 24-hour turnaround for every lease review.

Can I upgrade to a higher level of service if I need to?

Absolutely. If you have additional needs or questions that exceed the scope of services you initially purchased from Lease Check Mate, we will apply that payment to the level of service you need and go from there.

Will you draft a lease for me?

At this time, Lease Check Mate only reviews leases. We do not create them.
